Hey guys, just found this campaign video of the upcoming Gears of War 3 by Epic Games with the right song along side of it, War Pigs by Black Sabbath. If you are like me, you will squeal like a Asian school girl while watching this. The third installment is set to release this fall with much anticipation of faithful and hardcore gamers of Gears of War 1 & 2. So I kept this short so you can check out the video. Enjoy!!!!!!!

Mentioned on Kotaku and enthusiastically verified by “Bed Intruder”-on-RBN author Kariodude, the auto-tuned bit of local news sound bite heaven has already been charted and tested. Kariodude is working with the folks who first performed the autotuning, the Gregory Brothers, on this remix.. and the one they did for Double Rainbow.

Kariodude claims the legal issues are already ironed out, citing that the Gregory Brothers needed Antoine Dodson’s permission to release the track for sale on iTunes. Presumably RBN works the same way. I’m not sure where this leaves WAFF, the Atlanta television station that got the quotes from Dodson in the first place. Probably pissed.

Asura’s Wrath is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3. Capcom’s describing it as a blend of Asian mythologies in the science fiction and action genres. The title character is a deity who’s been betrayed and stripped of his powers, so now he’s running around beating the tar out of everything in sight. This is a formula we’ve seen before, and it’s worked. More screens and a video are below.

One of the most surprising titles that was announced months ago with the 3DS was this port of Super Street Fighter IV. Capcom’s just released some more assets and details on this upcoming game, including a couple of videos.

Capcom’s critically acclaimed Super Street Fighter IV is now the ultimate portable 3D fighting game, available as a launch title for the Nintendo 3DS. Packed with 35 playable characters, new modes and features including online/local Wi-Fi multiplayer, a collectible Figurine mode where 3DS units automatically battle via Street Pass, a 3D over-the-shoulder camera and customizable Simple and Pro Controls, the console experience is now even better and in the palm of your hands. Redefining the handheld fighting game experience, it is the only title to utilize the full capabilities of Nintendo’s online network at launch.

It’s a weird world when the longest-running game/brand partnership might just be Pain and Axe Men’s Fragrances.

This week the pair unveiled a new free level for Pain, the forest-jungle-cave-canyon-lake-camping-resort Hurt Falls. It is part of the latest Pain patch and will appear in your level selection menu the next time you load the game.

I hope somebody is sending the team at Idol Minds a Thank You Bouquet, because Pain has clearly been an ongoing labor of love. Pain was first released on the PSN in 2007, for pete’s sake, and in the intervening years it has added YouTube support, 3D support, Move support, David Hasselhoff support and more free and paid content add-ons than I care to count. I did write a commentary to accompany this video, but as it chiefly consisted of fan-serving squeals and sycophantic waffling, I thought it best to keep it to myself. You’d thank for me for if you read it – honestly. It’s hardly a shining example of impartial journalism.

Anyway, you don’t need me to tell you that the graphics look outstanding, the premise is gobsmacking and the intrigue is unbearable. Unfortunately, we’ll have at least a year to go before our curiosity is sated – Bioware have slated it for a Holiday ’2011′ release. Sob.

Dead Space 2 is slated for release in January 2011 on the PS3, 360 and PC. A playable demo hits consoles from 21 December 2010.

I’ll be spending some quality time with the first three chapters of the game next week. I’ll let you know how I got on; you know, if I haven’t keeled over from sheer terror, that is.

It’s a new Dead Space Developer Diary. This time Ian Milham, the team’s insanely talented Art Director, takes us through the multiplayer functionality on Dead Space 2.

I met Ian a few years ago. He’s a thoroughly awesome guy. Trouble is, I lost all interest in today’s video after he announced some of the finer details of the “gruesome and in-your-face-stuff” experience, namely that players can jump into the skin of necromorphs.

Personally? Nothing sounds better. I’m so sick of being terrified – and having my ass kicked – by those bloody things, it might be quite nice to play as one and shit-scare someone else for a change …

Dead Space 2 is scheduled for release on the 360, PS3 and PC on 28 January 2011.

Ever since we first heard the news that Back to the Future was hitting on consoles this December, I’ve been all a-quiver with excitement. Something about those light, tingly chimes of the original BttF Overture just whisks me back to a childhood crush of Michael J. Fox, a near word-perfect recall of the entire first film’s script, and an unspoken, cheesy love of Huey Lewis’ Power of Love.

The long-agonised issue with film-to-game translation is that … well, for the most part, we know that they all suck. But knowing that Telltale are at the helm leaves me curiously optimistic. And now that we have a trailer, I feel that my trust was not unfounded. It looks good, people – it looks good indeed.
