Review: Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit (PS3)

    By Joe Fourhman | July 13, 2008

Known for outstanding anime action - and unbelievable time dilation effects that turn a five minute battle into three weeks of episodes - Dragon Ball Z has enjoyed a rather tumultuous relationship with video games. The first DBZ games were mere legends, Japan-only titles spoken of only in hardcore importer circles. As the series gained traction in the US (turning Cartoon Network into a destination for teens and college students), Westernized video games followed, morphing Goku’s famous trials into RPGs, card battlers but yes, mostly fighters. Burst Limit may be the first HD generation DBZ release, but it stands atop a long line of uneven, nearly identical fighting games. Project Sylpheed Reviewed

    By Joe Haygood | August 8, 2007

caleatgame.jpgA couple of weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of Project Sylpheed from Edelman and Microsoft to review for the site. I was pretty happy to receive this assignment, because I had been looking at playing Project Sylpheed since its announcement. Trust me, I am a sucker for anything that looks remotely anime or Robotech related, so to get both of those in one package was amazing.

    World of Warcraft and Coke

    By Shane | August 14, 2005

The visual FX house hydraulx has a spot for Coca Cola which includes a bit of an Ogre WoW theme.

The ad consists of a girl band and a music agent in which the agent tries to jump-start the girl band to stardom. The girl band ignores the agent and plays a video game. The agent then morphs into an ogre and the three girls alter into anime warriors. They all start fighting because of the sugar rush they have from the Coca Cola..badda bing badda boom it’s over.
