Nintendo Channel

  1. Is anyone still checking out the propaganda video service Nintendo so graciously provides via the Wii?

I just watched a video featuring Miyamoto showing off Wii Music to a bunch of young schoolchildren the other night, and it made me love that dopey game. (On some level.)

I check in every once in a while, and am usually surprised by the amount of interesting clips I find.

They had Harvest Moon Wii stuff on there weeks ago, so...that's a must-see for me. And unexpected.

  3. Well, I can't say that I watch it all that much. Occasionally, I check it out, but I just have no interest in watching a channel full of suggestions as to what to buy on the Wii. I barely use it with the games I have.

  4. Yeah I really only turn on my Wii for random Wiiware and Virtual Console releases. I think I have used the Nintendo Channel maybe twice, total?

  6. I just got a copy of Sam and Max for the Wii, so I will probably be turning mine back on. I still need to finish deBlob, but the save system is just killing me. It is a game of exploration, but you cannot save until you get to the end of a part of town, normally consisting of three to four levels. Makes it difficult to pick up and play.

Yikes on the replies to the topic. I watch it every week. If nothing else, its an easy way to watch video game trailers on my TV. For whatever reason, I don't like doing it on the internet all that much.

Some of it isn't too bad, but a lot of the videos need to be longer.

If nothing else, a good way to keep you occupied while you're eating dinner.

Love to play with my Wii.

  10. Holy posted forever ago!

Glad at least you're there, XCW. I check in every few days, and I DO rate my games (after the requisite hour of play, of course).

Not that I have another current-gen system to choose, but I still use my Wii almost daily. WiiWare is great.

I guess I just don't require as much to be entertained as some people. My wife and I check Everybody Votes Channel RELIGIOUSLY. Still.

I just like it. It's fun and quirky.

    Go, Wii.

  11. I still go on the Nintendo Channel quite regularly to look at the DS demos. I used to watch the videos, but now they are all Z list celebs playing Mario Kart.
