Damn, my power supply is starting to sound like a buzzsaw when it spns up its fans. Seems the bearings are going out in one of the fans. If it is not one thing, it is another. The thing works, it is just noisy as hell. Just thought I would vent.

  2. So replace the fan in the power supply. The fan will cost you ~$5 and take about 30 minutes to do the work.

Otherwise you're looking to invest $30-100 in a new one, depending on what you need.

How much did you shell out for said power supply? It's worth getting a good one that is quiet and last long. I think I spent almost $100 on my last one and it's still going!
