    That was the teaser trailer for BioWare's Mass Effect 2. Oh. My. God. Let the hype train begin my friends and (hopefully) fellow Mass Effect lovers. My first experience with a BioWare title was KotOR, and from there I was looking forward to anything they had to offer. Mass Effect differed in gameplay from KotOR, but in its own ways it was one of the best games of 2007, not to mention all time. Haygood, you like Mass Effect don't you?

    Anyway, when that "KIA" flashed on the screen my jaw literally dropped. I wonder what this means for Ole' Commander Shepard. He definitely cannot be dead. As long as the game has plenty of Geth killin', I'm looking forward to it. Whoo!

    Not much to go by, but i guess that's why it's called a teaser.

    Any word on a release date?

    I'd expect a holiday 2010 release, unfortunately. I just hope Microsoft can hold on to this exclusive, but knowing EA, I don't think that's going to happen.

    I believe that the rumor is early 2010, with a formal coming out party at GDC. I was going to go until I saw the $1495 price tag. Just a tad bit out of my budget.

    I wish it would come out early 2010. We have to remember that this is BioWare, so if that's the target release date, I'd expect a delay (or two).
