Okay guys I am working with Trixie over at Xbox Live and I have got the criteria for hosting an Aeropause Community Playdate. I am going to post more, but what I need from the community are five people that are willing to help me host a game night. I will be one of the people, so I just need four more that are ready to put it together.

That is where you guys come in. I need four of you to volunteer to get this done. I am going to get all the writers that I can that have 360's to chip in, as well as some people from the community. Lets make this happen, not only for you guys, but for Aeropause as well!

I am thinking that we can do something like Gears of War 2 or Halo 3. I would say Call of Duty 4 if that resonates with anyone. Maybe World at War, if I can find a copy by the time this is going to happen. You name the title and I will make sure it is in my collection for this night.

You know I'm down for it. How about playing some Kung Fu Panda (just kidding). I can do all four of the above mentioned titles. Call of Duty 4 is my most preferred game, but I'm flexible when it comes to Gears, Halo, and Call of Duty.

I want to help, I have Halo 3 and Gears 2. I might pick up Call of Duty world at war if need be.

i will help but i only have call of duty world at war guitar hero world tour and mortal kombat vs dc universe.

Call of Duty: World at War seems to be a common thread here. I'm okay with that if everyone else is. I haven't actually been able to do a co-op Nazi Zombie run yet.

Gears of War 2 or Call of Duty World at War? I don't own COD: WaW, but I might be able to pick it up. Gears 2 would obviously be cheaper for me, and I have some outside the site people that might be able to make this happen.

Sweet, this should be a lot of fun. I wonder how different Gears of War 2 will feel with more than three people, haha.

Okay, I have an unofficial time and date for the community playdate. It will be on 5PM PST, April 19th, 2008. That is 8PM Eastern for those that need the conversion. It was the second earliest date that they had open. The earliest date would have been Easter Sunday, and I had a feeling that would not fly.

So plan accordingly, and make sure you don't have to work, or make plans that day. Gears 2 is on the agenda, and others should have time to get a copy if they do not have it already. Thanks for all the help from our dedicated community members for helping us make this a reality.

And you might want to make your 360 red ring now, so it will be back by then!
