Gaming Funk

  1. Has anyone been at a point in life where you just can't seem to play anything. The last week, I have been struggling to play games. Not because I don't want to, but I cannot really convince myself to play what I have not finished. Last night I played a bit of Ghostbusters and Lost Odyssey, but I was not really into playing them. I think it is just a funk I am in, but have any of you ever experienced that.

I just lost a whole wall of text that I was going to post as a reply, so here's it in short. Yes, everyone goes through those phases. Two games that I just wasn't into beating were Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. I had a blast all throughout Killzone 2, but the last level was total ass. I never actually enjoyed playing Metal Gear Solid 4, I just felt that I was obligated to beat it since I had a PS3 (not to mention the Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid PS3 Bundle). Well, I made it to one of the last levels and then just turned it off saying, "Wow, that was a really overrated game."

I've had this happen before on many occasions. Most of them were on the gamecube in games like Super Mario Sunshine and Zelda Windwaker. i've also had times where I can't pay games for more than 20 minutes at a time. After a little while I get bored and move on to another game etc.

  4. Yeah, I think I am past it now that SINGSTAR QUEEN is out. Really people, you all need to see the light and get at least one of these Singstar titles.
