Did you like Pixar's latest movie Wall-E?

  1. I thought it was well done - kids were crying in the theater!

  2. Isn't this the film that has three total words of dialogue in the first hour of the film? I think I will pass. My wife and son will probably go and see it. Give me Wanted instead....mmmmmm....A tattooed Angelina Jolie.....

  3. You're kidding right? Wall-E was awesome and I'm not ashamed to admit it! I guess it helps that I went with my 9 year old nephew ;-)

  4. It was very good! I felt like the consumerism message distracted from the main story... but heck.. it was still awesome!

  5. I have never been a fan of Pixar outside of The Incredibles, because their movies are always so formulatic.
That said, The Incredibles was a great take on the super hero genre and seemed to break the mold of what they were doing. Too bad they went right back to the cup with Cars.

  6. I agree with "Formulaic", but the kids love it - especially Cars.

I still think Finding Nemo was their best.

I remember when Pixar wasn't big, before Toy Story, and they had that short about a Bunny trying to fight off a fly. The Animators I knew when I was in tech school thought it was the best they saw.
