Konami Code on the Internets

  1. Did you see the story about websites that hide special features that can be unlocked by typing out the Konami Code? I'm sure I saw it via Kotaku...not sure if they originally posted it. But I'll give them credit, as my source.

I won't both to write that out here, because that'd be insulting to all of you. And if you don't know it, you're a quick trip to Google/the Hot Topic clearance rack away.

Facebook adds an extremely annoying lens flare effect every time you type or click on something.

My Google Reader (on which Kotaku's updates appear, hence I saw this story) had a ninja pop up. It did nothing, just changed the skin behind my RSS feeds. But, still...it's neat that sites did this.

I'm pretty sure if you input the code here on the Aeropause Forum, it randomly generates a new first and last name for Jordan Snyder. Weird, but strangely appropriate and efficient.

Check out konamicodesites.com for a big ol' list of them.
