As pretty as the still image was that passed for a Metroid Prime 3: Corruption website, it was no substitute for the real thing, which is there right now. While the new site has little more than a tight navigation system and a little information about Samus Aran (wow, knew nothing about that person) and a range of data about the control scheme, it's still a nice leap forward, and about time considering I'll probably be playing the game tomorrow, if my local game shop cashier meant what she told me when I pre-paid for the game.Funny aside here: I have the Metroid franchise website bookmarked and look at it at least once a day for updates, but since the official site was nested one level down, I didn't notice it had launched. Thankfully, GoNintendo had my back.
