  1. Okay, so I know I must be getting down to the nitty gritty of the game, because I have a choice to work with Dmitri or kill him. I want to kill that weasely asshole, so I went to his boat to preach a little retribution. Only thing is that I get so far into the mission, and then...flatline. The game crashes out at different sections of the game. First time, it crashed while I was coming down the stairs towards the cargo bay. The next time I went into the cargo bay and I shot a gas tank, which, upon exploding real good, it exploded me right out of the game. I am at a point where I am so frustrated, I am about to can the game for a while so I don't break my PC.

I can deal with buggy software. PC Gamers have lacked stable software for so many years, that we are just use to the bugs in our games, and other assorted problems. But for instabilities to happen at such a late point in the game is unforgivable. Its like getting the best head ever, only to have the woman bite it off before you climax.

I will probably try again tomorrow, as I want to have a discussion about it on the podcast. Like I said, I know I am close to the end. I just need to find Dmitri and fix his headache with a bottle of whoop-ass and gunpowder.

  2. Yeah, you're right there. Like, one more mission to go.

Sucks about the crashing.. that didn't happen to me (PS3 version), but you gotta watch those freakin' explodo-drums! I think I had to run that mission about six times to get through it. Usually I died for stupid reasons like walking into an area that I had not fully cleaned out and POP killed by some ass with a shotgun.

Did you have to use such colorful imagery?

Anyways, like Joe said, that crashing doesn't really happen on the console versions, so I can't really feel your pain. I think it's worth the trouble to finally kill Dimitri, though. I think the final mission is a combination of annoying action and cool, cinematic action. Good luck!
