So, I beat the game last night and had a blast the whole way through. I was absolutely in love with the story (which has blockbuster movie potential) until the last 15-25% of the game. If you've played the game, you know what I'm talking about. Everything that happened in the story up to this point seemed like it could actually happen in the real world. Then, they throw a curve ball at us when we find out that the treasure is cursed, bringing the demon Spaniards to life. At this point, I was kind of disappointed with the route that Naughty Dog had taken. It was like when I was watching the new Indiana Jones and found out that it was all about aliens...so dumb. Overall, it was an amazing game; at the end, the story seems forced and sometimes the combat scenes are too drawn out, but it's still a definite must-have for all PS3 owners.

Finished Uncharted Drake's Fortune *SPOILERS*

BING-EFFIN-O.
Complete misfire on the last bit of the game. Let's hope Uncharted 2: Among Thieves doesn't end with Nate having to jump into some silly interdimensional portal to stop the invading alien queen on her own turf.

I know, right?! For most of the game I was thinking, "Okay, Drake is unrealistically resistant to death, and some explosive barrels and vines are in the absolutely perfect position, but I am really diggin' this story." Then, once they throw in the mutant demons it smacks me in the face and I realize, "Hey, I'm playing a video game."
Hopefully, like you said, Naughty Dog will keep Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on the real side. Let's just say if they pull an Assassin's Creed type ending, I will be pissed.
