Okay, this was news to me. I did not realize that the Tron sequel was actually happening until after the podcast, when a friend told me about it. How the hell did I miss the announcement from Comicon. Anyway, it looks like the movie is called TR2N, and has Jeff Bridges involved in some capacity. Maybe as the new Dillinger, as it looked from the trailer. I am intrigued, but I still hold doubt whether the movie will work as a sequel. That said, I am there opening day, Tron gear in tow.

Hell yeah, I'm excited for it and scared as hell. I also hear that pixar is doing the cg. I'm hoping it does really well and they make a ride for it at Disneyland.

I loved the original Tron, and I think it would be exciting to see how they handle a sequel, especially since it's been so many years since the first.

I think it is intersted that they are staging Flynn as the bad guy, like a new Dillenger. Could be neat, but a film like this will get so hyped by the fans that it will never live up to the expectations.

Well then we shouldn't set our expectations high and I think we will enjoy the movie.
