This game grabs your imagination by the balls and keeps on running. There is so much to create in Spore its ridiculous. I made a slug race that fly's in The Enterprise and explores the seas in the Nautilus. You can create anything in the game, its endless. The only bad thing about it is the DRM.
Any one else orgasm every time they make something(or do something)new in this game?
I wanted this for awhile, but I know it would be too much of a timesuck for me right now. Also, I am waiting for a price drop so I can speak with my marketing dollars.

i had a fun time last night playing spore i spent a good half hour building a freaking awesome spaceship that was purple/yellowish gold. also in the stage before that i was beating the crap out of those red commies(the red village) and i contacted them again and they were like please stop i was like no and took them over i love this game so much.and yes Joe it will take a lot of time but i say if you can find it for 40 bucks get it.

Yeah don't buy it yet. It will steal your life, but at them moment I have been ignoring it fairly easily. Wayyyyyy to many deadlines to fulfill.
I forgot to post back in here that my wife bought it, but ended up playing it for about three or four days, and then gave up on it.
