The last two nights in a row, we have had huge power outages here in my neighborhood. And not just a street or two, but 10-12 city blocks without power for 30-40 minutes at a time. It is not the first time either, as we have had six to eight 15+ minute power outages in my neighborhood, since I moved here.
Pure awesomeness.
I'm still without power here in lovely Ohio. I've now just completed 72hrs w/o power. Luckily I got a hold of a generator on Monday and have been using that to keep my fridge cool, and watch House last night. It's got enough juice to be able to power my whole house, but alas I can't get all of the power out of it yet. (5500W). So I can at least power some of the essentials. I'm thinking about testing out my Internet tonight.
Mike, if you havent yet connected your internet and computer to the generator, then how, may I ask, are you posting this? iPhone? :p

Wow.. that must make it a nightmare to try to get something accomplished gaming wise. Every time you start over again, the power goes off.
