I am pretty happy. I voted for Obama (as did most of California), and my No on 8 vote may work out after early signs pointed to it passing.</p> <p>Anyone else have any good or bad stories to tell about their election day. I was lucky enough to have a polling place across the street from my house, and the lines were not too long. I had the option of a paper ballot or an electronic voting machine, so I opted for Electronic voting. It took a little longer, but it just seems to be a better bet than a paper ballot.</p> <p>I think my House Rep, Ken Calvert won. I was upset about that, because I was still pissed at the fact he voted for the Bank Bailout. We've all done it some form or another. Maybe we spend several hours doing meaningless tasks for just 50 GS, or we spend several more hours online with friends just to get all the online achievements. Maybe we purchase all the easy little XBLA games for a quick 200, or rent kids games for an easy 1000. </p> <p>Although I don't really consider myself an achievement whore, I have been guilty of achievement whoring myself. For instance, I just got this new HDTV, and I should be playing GTA IV and Dead Space on it, but no, I'm whoring out Buku Sudoku. There's an achievement for playing 200 puzzles, and then another one for getting a cumulative score of 10,000,000, and I'm playing way more sudoku than I should just so I can have those two achievements. Why?
