I've now just completed 72hrs w/o power. Luckily I got a hold of a generator on Monday and have been using that to keep my fridge cool, and watch House last night. It's got enough juice to be able to power my whole house, but alas I can't get all of the power out of it yet. (5500W). So I can at least power some of the essentials. And not just a street or two, but 10-12 city blocks without power for 30-40 minutes at a time. It is not the first time either, as we have had six to eight 15+ minute power outages in my neighborhood, since I moved here.</p> <p>Pure awesomeness. </p>
