&#60;p&#62;It also showed that if you develop light years past current technology, no one will buy your game in the US.  I find it amusing that they complained about piracy, but never wanted to blame high system specs for the overall lackluster US sales numbers.  It did sell well in Europe, so maybe it is just the taste of the consumer.
