My 360 Gamertag is SJMDracula. TheTony, if you put your Wii Friend Code up, I'll add you.

I would add TheTony as well. And my Wii code is here in this thread. And I do actually turn on the Wii at least once a month for game night. Maybe even more than once a month now that I have a hankering to play my copy of Dead Space Extraction, complete with its tentacle loving cover. Seriously, what is up with that cover? Who thought it would be a good idea to have a cover with a female, and a tentacle surrounding her? Maybe EA wass marketing to the wrong audience. Maybe they should have gone after the lucrative tentacle porn market. But I digress.

I have a Steam account but I don't tend to boot into Windows at all anymore. I was only using it for my Family Tree Maker software, and now I've got one that runs natively on MacOS.

No, Red Faction: Guerrilla is a Games for Windows LIVE enabled game. Youw would actually get achievements, just like an Xbox gamer. I love the game, but it has been put on the pile of shame right now, due to Mass Effect 2 needing all my love and attention.
Just started my second playthrough, this time with my male character from the first Mass Effect. Going to become the asshole of the galazy this time around.

I've been doing a mixture of Paragon and Renegade on both of my playthroughs. There are some people that I can't help being nice to, and some Renegade actions that I can't pass up.

Well I added thedoctor248 and mclazyj to my list, though it can't find InfinityDevil so maybe a CAPS problem?
Second, Joe, I'm very disappointed you don't have 3 version of Burnout for Steam. Tsk, tsk.
And as someone else stated, I have a PC that is barely running Serious Sam HD and is for that matter, Left 4 Dead. I'm not even going to try L4D2. I was mad I missed that Psychonauts deal for $2, didn't like the weekend deals though.
And lookie here, I started a topic that spurred conversation!

Well, the nice thing is that there are a ton of games on Steam that do not require a ton of hardware. I wonder if you got in on the Tropico 3 or Freedom Force deal. Those are two great franchises, and seriously, who does not like sabotaging elections in Tropico 3. I mean that is the greatest feeling in the world.

I decided to pass on those games, even though one of the kids I coached recommended Freedom Force as well. I looked at them, but $2 is a lot of money...

I do have to ask though, Direct2Drive has Red Faction: Guerrila for $5 this week. Would I get the Steam achievements if I get it from there? My guess is no, but I have to ask.

Steam username is thedoctor248. Also, Torchlight would be a great netbook game (it even has a specific 'netbook mode'.

That was actually the first and only game I ever downloaded. Well, the demo at least. Too much clicking for not having a USB mouse, though.

And a USB costs how much?

It would also require that I play a game on a PC, so.......

I do have one it's the same as my PSN, XFire, and XBL Silver names: InfinityDevil.

I have one thing installed from Steam right now: X3: Terran Conflict. It just baaaarely runs on my laptop.

I am so getting a gaming laptop next year. The CPU on my machine is speedy, the memory is great, the video card is just 128 MB of a workstation NVidia Quadra. Stupid me thinking it was gonna work really well a couple of years ago. I so wish we could swap them out for other models like on a regular PC.

well, first off, my SteamID is mclazyj. I know that Paul has one, and I will see if he can get his posted in here as well. I think some of the other writers have them as well. There is another thread that has a lot of our listener ids as well. You might have to look under the General Gaming group for that thread, and I believe it is stickied at the top.

As for your netbook and Steam, there are a lot of great games that will run on that Netbook off of Steam. Secrets of Monkey Island, Plants vs. Zombies, Quantz, the X-Com collection, the first Freedom Force, and so many more. I would have recommended getting Psychonauts for $2 earlier this week, as it is a great Tim Schafer game, and it would have run well on that Netbook. Also, a lot of those games I have listed here are easily under $10 if not less than $5.

They have also added two great buttons to the Steam storefront, the Games under $10 and Games under $5, making quick work of finding some great, cheaper games.

And no, I will not give up my Steam version of Burnout Paradise from Steam. Maybe my retail copy, but since it is linked to my EA account, it would probably end up being a DRM disaster. However, I have seen the disc version at Best Buy and Gamestop for $20 recently. Not sure if it is just local to the So Cal area or nationwide, but food for thought.

P.S. Haygood, could you gift me one of your 16 copies of Burnout Paradise? I missed that $7.50 deal on Steam during the holiday blowout.
