If you haven't heard or seen them yet, you must have been living under a rock. So in case you just emerged from said habitat, here's a quick refresher course:

I can't stand country. Folk is different, but country is terrible.

I'm an indie guy. Slather on some punk, with a dash of metal and rock, usually of the Classic flavor, and wrap it up in an alternative tortilla. For a topping, you can add a little bit of hip-hop/rap to kick it up a notch.

SPICY!

Yes, my ipod is that eclectic. In fact, in College, a female student commented on my music collection saying just that: "you have quite an eclectic music collection".

I already know I'm in the minority. *Readies flame shield* I love country music. It is awesome and has the hottest female singers. Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood, etc.

Since I don't remember who exactly said they liked electronica but didn't know to many bands i thought i would list a few for you. These are just a handful of the ones I like and i don't feel like making the biggest thread in the world. Hope you enjoy some of them. Add to the list if you'd like too, I'm always open to new music.

Alex Gopher
The Crystal Method
Cut Copy
Daft Punk.(yes its electronica)
Ghostland Observatory
Lali Puna
Ra Ra Riot. This one isn't electronia but every one should listen to them.

The song is called Dead Again and it was written by Tom Smith, a portly fellow who recently tore the quad muscles in his leg completely off….F$#@ing ouch! Unfortunately Mr. Smith does not have any insurance so his friends and fellow musicians have created a fund raising album in support of him. The album contains many tracks but the one we care about is Dead Again, a rather humorous take on gamers daily struggles to stay alive. The links to the song can be found below. You can also listen before you buy, and even download a free (slow bitrate) version of the song. They are also having a create a video contest for the song which runs until the end of August. The winners will receive a MP3 player loaded with Mr. Smith’s music, but before you make a video though you need to listen to the song. Enjoy!
