Mirror's Edge has been on my radar since the game was first announced in an issue of Play Magazine about a year ago. It does not look like much at first, but as you watch the footage, there is something about the minimalist playground that you move yourself through. Why is the world so sterile and limited in color? Why are runners chased by the authorities? Does Faith ever wear a silk bodysuit? Oh wait, I should of kept that one to myself.

But seriously, the game looks to move very smooth and it looks like a game that will defintely get the most out of my quad core and graphics card. In the end, whichever platform you get the game on, it will be a great showpiece and game experience.
Take a game that did the Marvel Universe oh so right, and give it a sequel. Seems like an easy idea to follow. They decided to go with the Civil War premise, which sounded good, and that we would get to play both sides of the conflict. Today we get a teaser, and it seems to have nothing to do with that. The characters look good, but looked like they were coated in wax. Also, it gives me all the heroes I already played. I want some new blood this time around. Give me Rogue, Gambit, Sentry, She-Hulk or maybe even some of the Inhumans. Just a few different characters would make all the difference in the game. I wouldn't mind seeing Cloak and Dagger....mmmmm Dagger. Also, what is the deal with the title Fusion? What is that suppose to mean? Hopefully we get more in the next few days from E3.

This does look awesome - love the mood, and of course, we'll be at EA in San Fran next month taking a closer look at the game.

Last trailer from the Gametrailers TV onslaught, but this one was probably the best of the bunch, just because it was the creepiest trailer I have watched in some time. This trailer for Dead Space was directed by James Wan, who was the director behind the first Saw movie. The trailer starts off pretty innocuous, but the last few frames had me shifting in my seat. This game looks better and better every time it is shown off, and the development team is really putting a lot of work into the project.

One more thanks to Laurence from Gametrailers for the heads up on all the trailers tonight.

Fresh off its debut on Gametrailers TV, we now have the first official trailer for Rock Band 2, and to be honest, it did not exactly sell me on the game 100%. I like some of the improved visuals, but I really would have liked to have seen more of the actual game, like band screens, world tour modes, etc. Right now, this just looks more like an enhanced Rock Band 1 video sequence, nothing more.

Paul Munn on "Burnout Paradise Cagney Update is Out Now... Unless You Have An Xbox 360"

Hello Burnout Paradise fans, start up your PS3 right now, put the disc in, and get just under 400 megs of free gaming goodness from your friends at Criterion Games. Yes, EA publishes Burnout Paradise, but the developer Criterion has been sowing loads of goodwill with a year of free updates for the game. This latest update has three new online play modes including online marked man and online road rage, new cars, and new events. I'm pretty sure timed challenges even made it into the mix too.

Don't have a PS3? Sure just start up your Xbox 360, pop the disc in, and ... oh. The Xbox 360 version of the Cagney update has been held until at least July 24th. That's two full weeks away. Tsk tsk.

Ok, ok, to be fair my 360-playing friends got to miss out on our PS3 firmware near-death experience so they've been sitting pretty. Mostly. If you don't count another high profile Xbox 360 death as Wombat's system recently kicked the bucket. Was that his fourth?

The next update from Criterion for the PS3 version of Burnout Paradise should get trophy support and at least some retroactive trophy support at that. See you online!
