Just picked up the Tom Petty songs, the Fleetwood Mac songs and the Billy Idol songs. Very good week for Rock Band DLC. Now if we can get some Queen next week, along with some Dire Straits, I would be a very happy camper.

Just give me a chunk of Queen and a slice of Dire Straits and I will be happy. Still mad that Sultan of Swing will be in Guitar Hero 5.

I agree, Harmonix has definitely delivered on their promises. With 1,000 songs, you'd probably expect a lot of crappy music, but there are going to be a ton of great bands, like The Beatles, Queen, Journey, Boston, Tom Petty, The Who, and the list goes on and on.

Am I the only one that is floored by this number. To think that a title that did not have a lot going for it, and major competition from the Guitar Hero franchise, they are dominating the fans expectations. Seriously, 1000 songs for the Rock Band library by year end, along with getting bands that have been hard to get like Tom Petty, Queen, and many others. Is anyone else impressed by this?

Well, the 360 version of the game was a review copy, so I did not factor that in, but if I had bought it on both, that would have been mega pricy.

Not as pricey as Burnout Paradise for PS3 360 and PC with all the DLC

Luckily, I only bought the DLC on the 360. I try to consolidate my DLC to one platform.

What about the 360 version of Fallout 3, did you factor that in?

Also, yes, that is too much for Gears 2, and this is coming from a 360 fan. I hardly ever pay for map packs. They are such a rip off. Compare $10 for three maps to a whole game for $60 with a dozen or so maps already in it.

I just realized that I paid $70 for the special edition of Fallout 3, and now I have bought four DLC packs at $10 a pop, coming to a grand total of $110. And remember, there is another DLC pack on its way for $10 bringing the grand total of my game purchase to $120.

Do you think that Fallout 3 is worth that. Or how about Gears 2 coming in at $100 after you factor in the four DLC map packs.

So I finally played enough of The Pitt DLC to get the Auto Axe, aka the Man Opener, and I am loving it. Slicing and dicing people is good times.
