However, looking at how much I enjoyed Brutal Legend, maybe Uncharted 2 would have been a better decision.</p> <p>As for Borderlands, I have it the top 5 of my Gamefly queue, so when it gets here, I will be playing with you Jordan. I got done with a two hour session last night online via the PC, and with the new patch, that game plays so much better online. I have been a loot bandit, and the group I was playing with was so good with sharing loot. So here is my two cents:</p> <p>I am like the a-typical gamer. Having been a Division I athlete in college, people never took me for the huge gamer that I was. After all, I was 150 pounds, 5% body fat who went out and ran every day. So right there I don't look like a gamer if you take away the generally shaggy face.</p> <p>When I was doing an internship as a sports reporter at the paper I now work at, there was another writer there. I could tell he didn't like sports, so I started talking video games with him to everyone else's shock. They all looked at me and was like, "But you do sports. Why do you play video games?" And when they found out I was not just a Madden player but loved Zelda and Mario and all those great Nintendo games out there, and that brought one more shock, even to the gaming writer.</p> <p>Second part of the story I'd like to share is when I met my now fiance. I told her I liked video games, but I waited almost two months before showing her my massive collection. When I explained to her that all of games were in chronological order of the time I bought them, I (almost) never sell a game, and that I kept track of how long I played my Wii games (thank goodness Nintendo channel update for making that easier), she about had a heart attack.</p> <p>Just thought I'd share my sterotype stories, and hope you guys answered my question in #106, I'll listen to it sometime this week.
