I’ve been a big fan of NinjaBee and I recently received an email about a contest they’re running to coincide with the upcoming release of Band of Bugs on PC, next month.
NinjaBee, the developer of Band of Bugs, is holding a contest wherein you could win a NinjaBee t-shirt and a copy of Band of Bugs for PC.
All you have to do is submit a picture of yourself with one of the Band of Bugs characters. They’re accepting submissions from any medium, CG, Photoshop, MS Paint, you just have to submit it as .jpg, .png, or .bmp and keep it under 3MB. Submit your image to contest@wahoo.com and you could win.
The contest ends Friday, Nov. 30, and the winner will be announced on NinjaBee.com Monday, Dec. 3. For character images, go to www.NinjaBee.com/bobpc/contestart/. The submissions will be judged by NinjaBee employees and ranked based on creativity and humor. The funnier, the better.
So, if you got your creative juices flowing (ewww) then be sure to submit your work!

Along with the controller grips I received recently for review was a pair of skins for the Nintendo DS Lite. I decided pretty quickly to install one, and give the other to a lucky reader. So read on for my review of RedBeard’s metal skins for Nintendo DS Lite, and to find out how to get the one I didn’t crack open to apply.
If you read my other RedBeard review, you know I was left pretty impressed with the quality of the products, though the sample I received was a mixed bag in terms of sheer usefulness in my personal setup. Skinning a handheld is the area I’ve had the most experience, as my wife and I both had DecalGirl vinyl skins on our original Nintendo DS systems. They were launch systems, in that drab gray, and we needed a means to tell them apart, which remains the most valuable aspect of any skin. But as you’ll see, these metal skins are a pretty different animal.
You can check out RedBeard’s product line at their official website.
Special Ops Media and Aeropause have got 1 copy of The Simpsons Game for the Nintendo Wii to give away.
All you need to do, and I mean all, is comment on this post and tell us who your favorite character and phrase is from the TV show. My favorite character would have to be the overweight German foreign exchange student - ?
The other day there was a friendly knock on my door. It was a day off for me, which is unusual, so I opened the door and low and behold, it was a Courier with a big, black box that read: “Halo 3 Legendary Edition” on the invoice slip. For those who aren’t in the know of all the different flavors of Halo 3 releases - it includes the helmet ( I tried it on and it doesn’t fit), Halo 3 Collectors Edition disc and 2 more discs of exclusive content. Not to mention the stand that you can put the helmet on and your games inside of, plus there’s a cool cardboard poster on the inside of the packaging.
We just gave away a Wii to lucky Aerofan - “Morphiend”, so now it’s time to give more. Microsoft was ever so kind enough to send us this glorious and well crafted marketing masterpiece to give away to one lucky winner on Aeropause. All you’re required to do is sign up in the forums and chat until your fingers decide they’re fatigued. The more you chat, the better your chances of winning. We’ll pick a winner 2 weeks from now on November 2nd and drop you an email. Just be sure to include your email when you sign up. We want meaty posts, too and not 5 or 6 worded topic starters. Catch my drift?

Congrats go out to Mike Koss of Ohio for winning the Aeropause Wii giveaway contest. Mike will be anxiously waiting at his doorstep for the delivery of a non-wireless, unextreme Wii-bundle mega edition with no controllers, 500KB hard drive, RF cable output, hand-cranked power supply and a pack of Nintendo playing cards.
Check back soon as we have another cool object of desire to give away soon. I wonder what it could be? A box of Atari E.T. games? Lunch with Kaz Hirai? Who knows.

Yes folks, We’re extending the Wii giveaway for another week for reasons we can’t explain, but we’ll try:
Our original approach was to allow you the reader, two or more chances to enter each day. The first method, by way of secret phrase in a blog entry failed terribly. We had about 3 people comment in the right post, including the original contest post, that actually included their email address which is necessary for us to contact you. So we will not be using this method for future contests.
The second method, which allowed you to sign up in the forums and chat as much as you can to increase your chances seemed to work a bit better - but I can still count on one hand the number of new participants. So come on people, does everyone own a Wii? Let’s get over to the forums and start talkin’ shop because the more you chat, the better your odds.
Chat in the Forums to Win!
If you are already signed up in the forums or were one of the few that participated through the blog entries, you’re already entered. However, that doesn’t stop you from increasing your chances by chatting more on the forums.
For more details on submitting or registering in the forums for the contest, please read the original contest post under the “second method”.
The contest will now close on Sunday, September 30th and we’ll announce a winner early that week.

It’s that time again folks for another contest on the old Aero. This time we’re not giving away another game, nooooo, it’s a fancy new Wii from a little company called Nintendo, that is if we can actually find one. With that said we’re giving you two ways to enter the contest because we’re that nice. If you use both ways, you’ll increase your chances of your local postal person showing up with that coveted package.
Hey Aeropeople. We’re giving away a copy of Tenchu Z for the Xbox 360 thanks to the folks at Microsoft, From Software and Edelman. All you need to do to win is sign-up in the forums. If you’re already signed up then no need to sign-up twice. The more you participate in the forums, the more you increase your chances of winning. Contest will end on the evening of June 24th, one week from now. Good luck!
We’re kindly giving away a copy of Earth Defense Force 2017 on the Xbox 360 starting today, thanks to the folks at D3 Publishers. This quirky Bot smashing game has received some pretty mixed reviews lately, but overall the scores seem to have been positive and decent. The technical aspect of the game needs work, says some site reviews, but it’s A LOT of fun to say the least.
So with that said, in order to win, all you need to do is register in our forums which only take a minute and you’ll be automatically entered. The more active you are with posts in the forums, the more you increase your chances of winning. This includes any post that is more than one-sentence of course. We’ll run it for just a week and announce the winner after Saturday, March 31st. We’ll contact the winner by email to get your snail mail address and ship you the game asap. Good luck!

One of the good reasons not to go next-gen just yet is all of the hundred’s of fabulous games available on the PS2, and this is one of them. Namco Bandai and EPN have graciously given us a couple copies of .hack//G.U. Rebirth so that we can give them away to you. All you need to do is drop us a line to: contact (at) aeropause (dot) com with your name, along with the game’s name in the subject line. In one week we’ll pick a winner. Feel free to enter once a day to increase your chances.
Good luck!
