Getting More From Your PS3
By Paul Munn | January 3, 2007
Got a new PS3 under the tree this year? Rambilin over at EvilAvatar has posted a thread with advice on a number of things about the big black box. He touches upon the best way to buy it to save money, the kinds of cables to buy or not buy, and the best ways to set it up to get the most out of it.
It’s not a bad guide, and it summarizes a number of threads we’ve read about at various places about resolution issues, playing PS2 and PS1 games on the PS3, and includes a trick to let you play the new JP-only Tekken game on your US PS3. Take a look.

If I would ever get a PS3, I would love to mod it and see how much cool stuff I could do with it. However, I would be scared to do that at the same time since it is 600 freakin dollars. I kinda feel sorry for Sony, considering that the PS2 had lots of great titles but the PS3 is just kinda lackluster.
