PS Vita Getting Skype, Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare

PS Vita gets Facebook Twitter Foursquare and SkypeColor me surprised, but Sony’s next handheld is going to get official Skype, Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare support as free PlayStation Store downloads. I had my doubts about us seeing Skype on a Sony platform again, and I’d sure like to see Skype come to the PS3, although they’d probably make it a PlayStation Plus exclusive feature, but I’m happy to see Sony lining up mobile application support for Vita.

Sony has also started talking about the lineup of upcoming titles for the system at Gamescom in Germany today, including Resistance: Burning Skies, which stars a firefighter and is set between Resistance 1 and 2. For more hit up the PlayStation Blog.
