L.A. Noire PC Release Announced
Oh Rockstar, why do you test me so? In an announcement that I talked about on a podcast a few episodes ago, I said that I was going to buy L.A. Noire, with the realization that it would end up getting announced for PC at some point. And sure enough, that announcement finally dropped from Rockstar Games own website.
L.A. Noire will ship this fall for Windows PC, and will add extra features, including 3D support and a higher graphical fidelity for those that have high end videocards.
All of this is fine and dandy, and I am happy to see this title come to PC, but really Rockstar, why do you have to wait to tell PC fans about this. I am sure it has to do with getting the maximum sales from the console versions, but man it pisses me off. I also feel that this might not have been planned right away, but the less than expected sales for the title probably has something to do with the quick turnaround for the title on PC. Sure, four million copies have been shipped according to Rockstar, but when the first month notates 899,000 units sold, it means there are a lot of copies sitting on retailer shelves waiting to find a home.
Check out the official release on Rockstar Games website for the L.A. Noire PC release announcement.
