Dead Island Box Art, Special Edition Announced
Techland and Deep Silver announced that Dead Island will be getting a Special Edtion for those that wish to pre-order the game at GameStop. The new Special Edition will include the upcoming Bloodbath DLC pack, which will feature four arena style maps that have waves of zombies attacking you. Leaderboards will track your progress in Bloodbath so you can compare your scores against your friends.
The Special Edition will also feature a custom box art, and a new weapon blueprint called the Ripper, a concoction that mixes a baseball bat and a buzzsaw.
We also have the official box art for Dead Island across all three platforms, with the Xbox 360 version to the left and the PS3 and PC versions available after the jump.
Dead Island is set to arrive in August 2011 from Deep Silver and Techland.
