The press release from Duke Nukem’s public relations representatives was prefaced with this smirky jab.

Somewhere, someone is screaming “I told you!” Well, that person who found the manual on Steam and combed through the legalese…besides having little or nothing going on in their life at that time, that person was correct. The Duke Nukem Forever Soundboard is live for iOS systems today….and it’s FREE!

So if you expected a pixel-perfect version of Duke Nukem Forever on your iPad2, based on teeny-tiny fine print in the back of the Steam manual, you’re no doubt disappointed.

On the other hand, if all you wanted was a free app that spouts the kind of puerile catchphrases Duke Nukem is known for, you might be having the Best Friday Ever.

I downloaded it as soon as I got the press release.  Who doesn't want some duke catchphrases on their phone to help them through a lazy Friday afternoon while waiting to get out of work for a three day weekend.
