SOCOM 4 – Technology Trailer
This new web documentary for SOCOM 4 looks at the new tech that is on display in the game. With the new tools that Zipper Interactive have created for SOCOM 4, they have created a new engine that allows for seemless cutscenes, with a greater amount of detail for this Playstation release. The winner here though are the guns and the Move and Sharpshooter peripheral that can be used with the title.
I know I sound like a heretic with these words, but the Move controller is probably the best thing that has happened to SOCOM 4. It integrates into the game like a mouse in an FPS on a PC, and I can attest to getting better scores with the Move controller than in any other console based shooter. I would tell anyone to at least try the beta if it is still available, or download a demo when they release one, just to try the motion controls, as they do work.
Check out the trailer after the jump. SOCOM 4 is set for release on the PS3 on April 19th, 2011.
