Let’s Learn the Mechanics of Brink
With Brink getting ready to arrive on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 10th, we have a three part series of videos that show off the gameplay mechanics that you will use in the game. While it seems like it should be a straight-forward thing, there is a lot going on in regards to the class based mechanics, movement and other items that can be used in Brink.
The videos cover how to switch classes, the different roles that the classes can perform, the SMART movement system, which allows for Smart Movement Across Random Terrain by holding down the sprint button and moving forward, and a lot more.
All of these mechanics will be used in every mode of the game, whether you are in the single player campaign, multiplayer mode, or even teaming up with a friend in the co-op mode of the campaign. Right now, Brink is looking a lot better than it showed at E3 last year, and we hope to have a review up for the release of the game, barring shipping issues with the game.
