RAGE To Get Comic Book Treatment by Dark Horse
id Software and Bethesda Softworks have teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to release a three issues mini-series that is focused on the world in the upcoming game, RAGE.
Written by Arvid Nelsion and penciled by Andrea Mutti, the comic series will take place before the events in the game, and will follow one woman as she comes out of her life sustaining ark after the meteor impact that left Earth in shambles. She finds out that the people that have survived to start up civilization again are not the kindest people you could meet.
RAGE will also get cover art by acclaimed comic artist, Glenn Fabry, who has done work on the Preacher and Hellraiser series of comic books. Tim Willits, creative director for the RAGE game, will also be involved with the development of the story and how it relates to the video game coming in September 2011.
