It’s All a Matter of Class with Brink
Bethesda and Splash Damage released a new trailer for their upcoming title, Brink, this time focusing on the class system that is used in the game. With the class system, you have the option to select any class on the fly, in order to pick up new objectives. At one point, you may select a medic class, and you will receive several missions that you can pick from, like healing teammates. Or you could find out that you need an Engineer, and you can select that to build a turret.
The idea of being able to change a class on the fly could be a great mechanic, as it allows a team that has two or three soldiers to have one just change to a medic as needed to heal people up, only to switch back to a soldier when you have finished healing teammates.
Check out the new trailer after the jump. Brink is coming to PS3, PC and Xbox 360 on May 17th, 2011 from Splash Damage Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
