Hunted: The Demon’s Forge – The Power of Two
The Power of Two. It is a phrase that sounds like it could be in a Celine Dion song, but Bethesda and inXile have a more game-centric focus for this phrase with the new trailer for Hunted: The Demon Forge. In this new trailer, we are introduced to our characters, Caddoc and Elara, and how there two styles feed off of each other in combat. Caddoc deals his damage up close and personal with crushing melee attacks, while Elara hangs back and uses her bow to assist with random death dealing.
The trailer also presents us with the concept of “co-op at a distance”, which means that you don’t have to rush over to your teammate to do things like heal or ammo them up. At one point in the video, we see Elara chuck a health potion to Caddoc, instead of the normal game mechanic where you have to run over to heal. The goal was to keep players in the heat of the action, rather than distract you with finding the team member that needs healing.
