Aeropodcast #174: No Dragon Age II for You Forum Abuser

Submitted by on March 18, 2011 – 12:45 pmNo Comment

This week on the Aeropodcast, we have the triumphant return of Koss, and he brings a topic that is of interest of those that believe the own the games that they buy.  We take a look at a recent story of a person that had bought a copy of Dragon Age II and was not exactly enjoying the game, so he went to the Bioware forums to express his displeasure.  Apparently, one of his comments was not acceptable to the forum users and he was banned for 72 hours.  However, the ban locked him out of his game due to the forum membership being linked to his game login.

So the question came about to whether you own your games when you buy them and how much control the publishers have over the titles you buy, even when they are contained, single player experiences.

The podcast was mixed, by Stephen “Screw You EA!” Munn, and features “Droid Girl”, performed by Lazyitis.
