Aeropodcast #173: Redbulls, Ink Ribbons and Fathead Avatars
So yes, we are late again with the podcast, but unfortunately, our mixmaster lost all connections to the web, but valiantly struggled with Panera Bread Wi-Fi to get this and the next podcast transmitted to us so we could bring it to you.
As for the podcast, Fourhman and Haygood talk about the new site that has come out that will allow gamers to upload their Xbox 360 avatars and get real world merchandise based on them. Right now it is limited to only a couple of items, but the Fathead Wall Sticker is easily the funniest item of the lot. We talk about this and other ways that companies have tried to market avatar, or game items outside the game, and if either of us would ever opt in for something like this for ourselves.
The podcast was mixed, by Stephen “I SAID EXTRA CHEESE ON MY SANDWICH” Munn, and features “Droid Girl”, performed by Lazyitis.
