Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

It is ironic that big MMO titles based on licensed products seem to make it to market after the fad of the show or movie dies off.  Such is the irony with Battlestar Galactica Online, a game based on a show that had a solid three year run, followed by a less than stellar closing fourth season.

In the new gameplay footage trailer that we received today, we get to see the likeness’ of Admiral Adama and Cyclon 6, as well as a lot of space combat from both sides of the battle.  Yes, it appears that you can play as a Cyclon or as a member of the remnants of the Colonial Fleet. 

I do want this to be a fun, easy to get into space combat title, but I am worried that the Battlestar Galactica phase of fans might be waining, but who knows.  The show has gained a new set of fans via Netflix Instant Streaming, and if it is free to play, it is at a price that everyone enjoys.

Also of note is the exclusive launch period via syfy.com for the first 30 days of launch.  It figures, since they are the driving force behind this title that they would get a window of exclusivity.  Check the trailer after the jump.
