Final Fantasy XIII-2 Announcement Trailer Released

So with all this Final Fantasy news flying around the last few days, let’s just add one more item to the pile, as we now have the full announcement trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2. Now, I have not finished Final Fantasy XIII, but I can say that because I am thoroughly confused by the story so far, watching this trailer has not killed the ending of Final Fantasy XIII as of yet. It might once I finish the game, but I would recommend watching it, if only because it seems to focus on my girl Lightning.

As for the game itself, we still do not know much with the exception that Lightning has an obsession with metal armor and feathers now, and she does do battle with a guy with long blue hair.

Check out the full announcement trailer after the break. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to arrive next winter (or as I have heard from Square, late 2011/early 2012) on Xbox 360 and PS3.
