Why, that’s a Mr. Game & Watch cameo in Donkey Kong Country Returns

Nintendo’s longest-lived gaming mascot has wrangled himself a cameo in Donkey Kong Country Returns, out today in NA for Wii. You can find him lurking in the background of one of the game’s excellently crafted silhouette levels, at the beginning of World 7.
DKCR makes for a great middle ground between the recent breezy Kirby’s Epic Yarn and last year’s punishing New Super Mario Bros Wii. Don’t believe the reviews saying DK is harder than NSMBW. DK does not reset your progress on a Game Over, is much freer with continues, and lets human beings accrue enough lives to activate Super Guide for the tough spots. As such, you’ve actually got a shot at finishing and enjoying this one!
