Iron Man Shows Off His Stuff in Marvel Pinball
I remember Pinball when it was a simpler time in history. The late 70′s, where pinball machines were at just about any pizza joint you went into, and they were normally themed on some form of entertainment or cultural item of the time. Kiss and Excalibur were two of my favorites, but comparing those tables to some of the ones we find in the video game pinball sims are just insane. Take Marvel Pinball, which we received an update on today. It took three and a half paragraphs to explain how the table works and just some of the different things happening on the table Note – not all of the items, just some took that much paper.
That said, I do love the look of this first Marvel Pinball title to get a video. The tables look abosolutely insane in how they work and easily put to shame anything that Zen Studios has put together so far. There is a ton of things happening on this table, including huge boss battles, and at one point, a giant ass Ultimo crashes out of the middle of the table. It is epic in scope and seems fitting of the Marvel Universe.
And think about it this way, if the table ever does seem to get boring, Zen Studios can just retcon the table to make it new to you again. I mean, if it works for Marvel every two to three years, it should work for Zen Studios as well.
Check the jump for a video of the Iron Man table in action as well as several screens. Marvel Pinball will be an add on pack for Pinball FX 2 on Xbox 360, and a stand alone title on the PSN marketplace in December 2010 from Zen Studios.
