Shogun 2: Assassination Trailer
The team over at The Creative Assembly have put out a new trailer that shows off how the Ninja unit in campaign mode can be used to take out a rival general. The strategy behind this is that without a general, the rival troops under the general’s command will no longer have a leader and will therefore be unorganized in battle.
The video also contains some commentary on the Ninja unit and a little on the game as a whole. While I have dabbled in most of the Total War franchises, only the Shogun incarnation has ever truly captured my fancy, if only because elements of it harken back to the old boardgame, Shogun. Not sure if anyone remembers that game, but if you haven’t played it, I would highly recommend it as well as the Total War: Shogun series of games.
