Time for One More Turn As Civilization V Releases Today
The big daddy of strategy games is back today with the release of Sid Meier’s Civilization V at retail and digital download today. Featuring a completely new combat system, graphical engine and tech options, this new Civilization title looks to be a culmination of the franchise. The game was shaping up rather nicely at E3 this year, and with several new improvements that will help new players ease into the challenge of the title, it does not get much better than that.
Early reviews are in and it seems that the title is getting a lot of praise around the industry. While I am hyped for this title, I do have some dread over it, as it means that sleep has now become optional when it comes to playing the game. I mean, why sleep when you have almost conquered the map….”just one more turn, and then I will go to bed, I really mean it this time”.
Civilization V is out today on PC from Fireaxis Studios and 2K Games.
