Ones to Watch: PS3 and PSP for September 2010

September is PlayStation Move’s launch month for the PS3 and if the new reviews out yesterday are any indication it’s looking good. It might not yet have that killer app for you and me, to be sure, but the potential is strong right out of the gate with a good showing from Sports Champions and EyePet. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions swings in on the 7th with new Dragon Age DLC, and HAWX 2 followed by Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest on the 14th.
The PSP is also getting two games to keep an eye on, one of which has a surprise for owners of the latest all-digital iteration of the handheld, and not in a good way. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep will have a UMD-only release and NO digital release — someone at Sony must have really ticked off the people at Square — on the 7th. On the plus side, the new Phantasy Star Portable 2 comes in with online play, thank goodness.
Hit the jump for what’s interesting and headed to market this month on Sony’s devices.
