New Epic Mickey Trailer Shows off New Level Elements

Submitted by on September 16, 2010 – 2:20 pm3 Comments

Warren Spector continues to win me over everytime he shows off Epic Mickey.  I was hugely skeptical of this game when it was first announced, feeling that Warren’s time would have been better spent getting me another Deus Ex sequel.  However, I started to get a change of heart seeing the game in person at E3 and with each new piece of news we get, it just impresses me more.

Now we have a new trailer that shows off old elements of Disneyland, DisneyWorld, old cartoons and so much more.  It shows an attention to detail that Warren is known for with all of his games.  As I stated, I am not a huge Disney fan, but I am looking forward to giving this game a spin.

Epic Mickey is set for a November 30th, 2010 on Nintendo Wii from Disney Interactive Studios.

Aw jeez! Not small world! How can small world be a forgotten part of Disney? It's verifiably iconic.

I am assuming that this is the non-ethnically cleansed version of “It's A Small World”. You know, before Disney got all PC and stopped making things like Song of the South and the like.

Oh right, when they grenaded small world's jungle scene to include a massive America room!

Splash Mountain and the Br'er characters are still a big deal. It's just that the original needs some context and a delicate touch. Releasing Song of the South as a normal, high-hype Disney DVD/blu-ray would be a sensitivity mistake.
