Sony has released what I think amounts to the fifth color for the Dual Shock 3 in the US, a “candy pink” model of the PS3 controller. The announcement says it’s available now at GameStop and BestBuy. What are the other colors? They are: Model-T black, red, blue, and white (which might not be available everywhere).

I couldn’t say how well any of the extra colors sell — I recently picked up two new black Dual Shock 3′s because they were on sale cheaper than the blue and red ones — but I do think that if they packed in a PSN voucher for appropriate items it would help. How about a cute girly costume for LittleBigPlanet 2 with the pink one? Vouchers with accessories could sweeten the deal that much more.
