Fallout: Nev Vegas Developer Diary #2 – New Tech, New Sounds
Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda have released another developer diary for Fallout: New Vegas, this time focusing on the new technology that is in the game, as well as the sound recording and original soundtrack. It seems that Obsidian is not trying to reinvent the wheel with this release, but instead trying to refine the technology a bit, while adding a host of new weapons and upgrades for your character.
Also, we get to see a little insight on the process of how subtle sound can change in an environment like the Mojave desert. And as an extra treat, we do get to see and hear a bit from the upcoming soundtrack, which will be all new for the game, maybe with the exception of that ominious menu music. That has to stay, no matter what.
Look for the developer diary after the jump. Fallout: New Vegas is set to release October 19th, 2010 on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 from Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment.
