Review: Dragon Ball Z – Ultimate Tenkaichi (PS3)

That first Mega Man Universe teaser trailer was some seriously awesome stuff. Stop motion animated versions of Mega Man and other Capcom classics (Street Fighter, Ghouls n Ghosts), duking it out against big-eyed robot baddies in some kid’s bedroom? Nice.

But now we got this new trailer, introduced by Keiji Inafune himself and purportedly designed to show off actual gameplay and reduce the confusion created by the too-good-to-be-true teaser trailer.

And it looks like any old Mega Man game ever. I’m going to need a little more than that, particularly if they’re trying to leverage the Capcom fan-service card. Watch the trailer after the jump, and see if you’re as MEGA-disappointed as I am.

Hopefully, this is just a Teaser Trailer #2, and the actual product will in fact be more than just An Ass-Looking Mega Man Game With Occasional Ryu Cameos. Mega Man Universe is expected for PSN and XBLA sometime this who knows when.
