The classic seafaring title, Sid Meier’s Pirates is making its way onto the Nintendo Wii on October 5th, 2010, so make plans now to secure the poop deck and pillage the main land.  Okay, so maybe my pirate speak is a bit off, but I was a big fan of Sid Meier’s Pirates when it was remade many years ago on the PC.  It took the classic gameplay and spiced it up with new challenges and a new sea combat system.

Wii owners will get all the excitement that was available in the first title, as well as two new mini games exclusive to the Wii platform – Bombardment and Lock picking.
