New Screens From DC Universe Online, Now With Playable Batman
Okay, now I am excited for DC Universe Online. Sure, it features all the characters that we love in the DC Universe. It also features role playing, an action based combat system and of course, loot grabs. But none of that swayed me as much as the screenshot I got today of a giant tiger man with a big mace, laying waste to the evildoers of the world. It’s a FREAKING TIGER MAN. What is not to love about that?
Seriously though, the game is looking better, and now we have some of the first shots of Batman in action. It seems that if you pre-order the game from your favorite retailer, you will gain access to Batman as a playable character. Not sure if that is just in some sort of instanced area, or if you can use him as your hero in the game. If so, it might make the game a little easy, because as the old arguement goes, Batman can win every fight, even with Superman, so wouldn’t that make the game a bit boring.
