New Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest screenshots

A few months ago, Nintendo Power featured the “exclusive” Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest for Wii and DS. I recall reading the article and being impressed with the game’s style and the presence of some significant voice actors from the Lord of the Rings movies, including John Rhys-Davies. Right after Sony demoed the PlayStation Move, we found out the game would also be appearing on the PS3 and, at some point when I wasn’t watching, a PSP version turned up as well.

Aside from that article in Nintendo Power and the screens that went along with it, I haven’t seen anything on the game since, but today we received a bunch of new images from all four versions of the game. The game’s coming to everything but 360 next month.

Also, there is a nice synopsis of what the game is about:

In The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest, players become the legendary Aragorn and embark upon a quest reliving the hero’s most valiant battles from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Wielding a sword, shield, bow and spear, players will battle enemies and journey through a colorful and fresh rendition of Middle-earth where they can switch between spear and sword on horseback, taking down evil foes in a truly action-packed gameplay experience.  Two-player co-op gameplay featuring Gandalf allows kids, families and friends to work together in the heart of the action on both the Wii and PS3.

See the rest of the screens below.
